Privacy Statement
Intelinet Systems has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy. Because we gather private information from our visitors and customers, we have established this statement to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices to our customers. We reserve the right to change this statement and will provide notification of the change on the www.intelinetsystems.com web page at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect. The notice will include directions on how users may respond to the change.
How We Use Collected Information
Intelinet Systems uses the information that we collect to assist us in understanding our market and the interest levels in our products and services. We may also use this information to contact individual customers to further discuss customer interest in our company, the services that we provide, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events. Third parties may provide content on our web site, but they are not permitted to collect any information, nor does Intelinet Systems share any user information with these parties.
Anonymous Users
Much of the Intelinet Systems web site is available to anonymous users. We do not attempt to collect any information from anonymous users except that included in standard web server logs, such as IP addresses. (In no case do we query a user's browser for any personally identifying information, such as their name or e-mail address.) The information in the web server logs is used to help diagnose technical problems and to administer our web site in order to constantly improve the quality of our service. We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and customers, and provide such information to third parties. We do not use this information to identify or track individual users except to trace hacking attempts or other unlawful activities.
Registered Users
For access to certain areas, such as our customer Portal, we require users to register with us. Customes register by filling out a form on our site that asks for certain information. Contact information, such as a name, company name, address, phone number, and e-mail address is required. During the registration process, we may also ask for non-mandatory information. This may be additional personal information, such as job title, department name, fax number, or additional company information, such as annual revenues, number of employees, or industry. We clearly indicate which information must be provided, and which is optional. Customers can choose not to provide non-mandatory information by leaving those spaces in the form blank.
Third Party Sites
The Intelinet Systems web sites contains links to other web sites. Intelinet Systems is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these other web sites to understand their policies. Customers and visitors who access a linked site may disclose their private information if the site collects such information automatically. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.
